Toruń is a city located in central Poland, hence it is really easy to reach. Although we do not have an airport, Warsaw, Gdańsk, Poznań and Bydgoszcz airports are only about a two-hour drive away from Toruń. You can travel by bus or train (if you are planning to travel from an airport and need any help, feel free to contact us). If you are traveling from Poland, you should go to Toruń Główny or Toruń Miasto train station. You can take almost any bus from the station to our faculty. The Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Informatics (Wydział Fizyki, Astronomii i Informatyki Stosowanej UMK) is located in the city center, really close to the old town. Here, the closest bus stops are: Odrodzenia, Aleja Solidarności, and Legionów. The easiest way to travel around Toruń is by bus or tram. You can always check the schedule at jakdojade.pl.
The registration fee covers the accommodation in Nicolaus Copernicus University Student’s House no. 6 located at Juliusza Słowackiego 1/3 street. The closest tram stop is Osiedle Młodych. Student’s House is located 10 minutes away from the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Informatics and the Old Town.
Student’s House is divided into segments and each segment has two rooms: one single and one double. If you prefer a single/double room or if you wish to stay in a room/segment with a particular person, you should declare it in the registration form.
Breakfast is also included in the registration fee. However, it will be served at the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Informatics, not in the Student’s House.
